Working Principle of a Commercial Solar System

Our electricity bills can be quite large especially if there is extensive use of heavy-duty machines or advanced computers. There are many ways of reducing energy costs and choosing an alternative energy source is one of them. Solar energy is a popular alternative to normal energy and helps reduce the cost of electricity.

Solar energy will bring down your costs and additionally reduce the carbon footprint. Solar panels are also easy to maintain and are highly durable. The main reason why they are durable is due to the EVA sheet for solar cells encapsulation. The main purpose of EVA sheet is to ensure the solar cells float between the glass and the backsheet. This helps absorb shocks and reduce any vibration and protect the cells and the circuit.

This article is a must to understand the basic principle of a solar panel system and those seeking an EVA foam sheet manufacturer in India.

What is Solar Energy?
The main concept of using solar energy for the purpose of replacing conventional sources of energy is about being able to capture energy from the sun and convert it into electricity. The sun is an abundant source of energy (a natural nuclear reactor) constantly sending energy that reaches the earth. There are many methods of taking advantage of this and benefiting from it.
The two most popular methods of using this abundant energy are to set up special solar panels to convert it into electricity, the other being to use it for the purpose of heating water.

How does it Work?
Solar panels are manufactured with the help of a high number of solar cells. It makes use of a photovoltaic effect to produce electricity. These solar cells are encapsulated to ensure they are effective and do not lose any energy captured. The way this is done is by using an EVA sheet (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate sheet) which is a copolymer resin to encapsulate the solar cells. The main reason of using the EVA sheet is to help increase the life of solar cells by preventing oxygen and other gasses from oxidizing cells when they are in the process of converting solar energy into power.

The EVA sheet for solar cell encapsulation is the best method of maximizing the photovoltaic effect of cells to produce electricity. This is DC which is later converted into AC by passing it through an inverter. Electricity generated is available for residential or commercial purposes as desired. Vishakha Renewables are EVA foam sheet manufacturer in India who manufactures high-grade PID resistant EVA in their state of the art facility in India.
